1. Who we are
Eleco Technologies ("we", "us", "our") is a software engineering and delivery partner for software-led companies. Our full legal name is Vertical Digital SRL, registered in Romania under no. J05/343/2014, VAT RO32858674, with its registered office at Strada Meșteșugarilor 51 B, Oradea, Romania. "Eleco Technologies" is a trading name of Vertical Digital SRL.
Our registered contact email is info.elecotechnologies@eleco.com.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit www.elecotechnologies.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and your rights under UK GDPR and the UK Data Protection Act 2018.
2. Data we collect
2.1 Analytics data (only with your consent)
If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect aggregated usage data, including:
- Pages visited and time spent on each page
- Referral source (how you arrived at the Site)
- Device type, browser, and operating system
- Approximate country (derived from IP address; the full IP is not stored by us)
- UTM campaign parameters if you arrived via a tracked link
GA4 is operated by Google LLC. Data may be transferred to and processed in the United States under Google's Standard Contractual Clauses. See Google's Privacy Policy for full details.
We also use Umami Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-first analytics tool that collects aggregated page-view data without setting any cookies or storing personally identifiable information. Umami data is processed on Manus platform infrastructure.
2.2 Contact and enquiry data
When you submit a contact form, delivery review request, or resource download request on the Site, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, company, and message. This data is transmitted via EmailJS to our business email address and is used solely to respond to your enquiry.
2.3 Consent preferences
Your cookie consent choice ("accepted" or "declined") is stored in your browser's localStorage under the key eleco_cookie_consent. This is not a cookie and is not transmitted to any server.
3. Business contacts we approach directly
This section applies if you received an email from us and you have never contacted us or visited this Site. It explains where we obtained your details and what you can do about it.
Where we got your data
We did not receive it from you. We obtain business contact details from commercial B2B contact databases — principally Instantly SuperSearch — which compile information from publicly accessible professional sources such as company websites, business directories, and professional networking profiles.
What we hold
Your full name, business email address, job title, employer name, employer website, and the approximate size of your employer. We do not hold your personal phone number, your home address, or any special-category data for this purpose.
Why, and on what legal basis
We use this information for direct business-to-business marketing: to introduce our engineering and automation services to the person in an organisation who would decide whether those services are relevant. Our legal basis is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR. Our legitimate interest is in identifying organisations that may benefit from our services and giving them the opportunity to consider them.
We have carried out and documented a Legitimate Interests Assessment weighing that interest against your rights; you can request a summary using the contact details below. We are not claiming that you consented. You did not.
Who else is involved
- Foo Monk LLC, trading as Instantly.ai (Sheridan, Wyoming, United States) — the platform we use to send and manage business email, acting as our processor.
- Innoserv SRL, trading as ClientiB2B (Romania) — the agency that runs our outbound programme, acting as our processor under a written data processing agreement.
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
Transfers outside the UK
Instantly.ai processes data in the United States. That transfer is made under the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Version B1.0), incorporated into our data processing agreement with the provider. You can request a copy of the safeguards in place.
How long we keep it
Prospect records are deleted 12 months after our last contact with you. If you ask us to stop, we delete the record and keep only your email address on a suppression list, indefinitely, for the sole purpose of making sure no future campaign of ours reaches you by accident. It is not used for anything else.
Your right to stop this is absolute
Under Article 21(2) UK GDPR, you can object to direct marketing at any time. This right has no exceptions and we cannot refuse it or ask you to justify it. Reply "STOP" to any of our emails and you are removed within 24 hours, permanently. You can also contact us using the email address below. All the other rights listed in section 7 apply to this data too, including erasure.
No automated decisions
We do not make decisions about you by automated means, and we do not profile you in any way that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Legal basis for processing through the Site
- Analytics (GA4): Consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You may withdraw consent at any time by clicking "Cookie preferences" in the Site footer.
- Contact enquiries: Legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) — responding to business enquiries you have initiated.
- Umami analytics: Legitimate interests — cookieless, aggregated statistics that do not identify individuals.
5. How long we keep your data
- GA4 data: Retained for 14 months by default within Google Analytics, then automatically deleted.
- Contact enquiry emails: Retained in our business email system for up to 3 years, or until the enquiry is resolved, whichever is sooner.
- Business prospect records: Retained and deleted as described in section 3.
- Umami data: Aggregated and anonymised; no individual retention period applies.
6. Sharing your data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only with the following processors where necessary to operate the Site or our direct B2B communications:
- Google LLC — GA4 analytics (if you consent). Governed by Google's Data Processing Terms and Standard Contractual Clauses.
- EmailJS — form submission delivery. Data is transmitted over TLS and not stored by EmailJS beyond delivery.
- Manus platform — Site hosting and Umami analytics infrastructure.
- Foo Monk LLC, trading as Instantly.ai — direct B2B email sending and management.
- Innoserv SRL, trading as ClientiB2B — management of our outbound B2B programme.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data where there is no legitimate reason to retain it.
- Restriction — ask us to restrict processing in certain circumstances.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Object to direct marketing — you may object at any time. This right is absolute; we will stop using your data for direct marketing without requiring a reason from you.
- Withdraw consent — withdraw analytics consent at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info.elecotechnologies@eleco.com. We will respond within one calendar month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
8. Cookies
The Site uses cookies only if you accept analytics via the cookie banner. The cookies set by GA4 are:
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
_ga | Distinguishes unique users | 2 years |
_ga_76TNXENPCR | Maintains session state for GA4 property | 2 years |
Umami Analytics does not set any cookies. The consent preference stored in localStorage is not a cookie.
9. Third-party links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
11. Contact
