The business model required more than a booking form. Top Car Rentals needed to integrate multiple car rental providers under a single coherent interface, manage partner relationships and vehicle inventory, handle promotions and invoicing, maintain data security, and attract customers through strong search visibility. The platform also had to be architected for geographic and service-line expansion from the outset — a constraint that ruled out a simple brochure-site approach.

How the platform addressed the problem
Eleco Technologies delivered a three-component platform: a secure REST API managing business logic, data security, and partner system integration; an administration site giving Top Car Rentals full control over partners, vehicles, promotions, bookings, and invoices; and a search-optimised front-office website with multiple search options covering economy to luxury cars, minibuses, and other vehicle types. The infrastructure was built on Java 11, Spring Boot, JPA, PostgreSQL, AWS RDS, AWS EC2, AWS Route53, React, Bootstrap, and Nginx. Two parallel teams — four frontend specialists and three backend engineers — worked across the three-year programme.
